Taking a Brain Break

Today we’ll be taking a brain break. Learning how to pause and reset can reduce stress in your life.

Here are your check in questions:

  1. How are you feeling today (stressed, calm, meh/okay, anxious, happy)?

  2. Do you think today would be a good day to take some time off working/study prep/engaging activity?

    1. Sometimes we get can stressed out at the idea of taking a break - you might just have too much to do before a certain deadline or you’re feeling motivated to get stuff done today! And that’s okay. You can come back to this page whenever you feel you need to take a break.

Gardening activities

I think gardening and growing plants can be a great de-stressing activity. It’s not a one time thing, either. You take care of plants for a while; there’s also some proof that plants improve our wellbeing :)

Coloring as a way to destress has become pretty popular in recent years. Its appeal comes from the activity’s potential to spark creativity while reducing stress.
