Trying New Things!
There are many benefits, including for health and wellbeing, that trying new things give you. When you try new things, you challenge your brain to think in ways it hasn’t before. This in turn boosts creativity and motivation to accomplish this new thing.
Another reason is to try new things is to overcome fear. Research shows that individuals are more afraid of an unknown outcome (like you don’t know if it’s good or bad) than a known bad outcome.

Here are your check in questions:
1. What is one new thing you think you would like to try?
2. Try to remember the last time you tried something new. How did you feel? What was it like to start that new thing?
3. How do you feel today about trying something new? If there's something stopping you, try to pinpoint what the fear is about?
