Election anxiety is something that many people feel during an election cycle, especially an election cycle as stressful as this one. Today is Election Day, so this page is here to help you navigate the different emotions you might feel today, including stress and anxiety.

ways to deal with stress on Election Day

  • interrupt yourself and your thoughts by getting up and getting a glass of water. doesn’t matter if you have a water bottle nearby. moving about will interrupt your thoughts and temporarily relieve stress
