Check in

Climate Change and our Mental Health

Climate change is real, and so is how it affects people’s mental health and wellbeing. This includes anxiety (or eco-anxiety) over the crisis and the mental toll that comes from natural disasters, lack of food and water, and hardship caused by climate change.

Today I’d like to talk about some of the things that you can do to help others and yourself.

For now, here are your check in questions:

  1. How am I feeling today? How would I like to feel by the end of the day?

  2. What is one quality in myself that I am proud of?

If you would like to post your answers to today's question, use the button below to post to the Community Board!

Upcycling Projects and more

One way to ease your fear is to act. We can make a lot of difference from our own homes.

Projects:

  • Learn how to upcycle things that you no longer use. Here are some of my favorite ones; I’ll be updating this doc as I find more.

  • Not sure what and what not to recycle? This guide can help you.

Online Action:

If you would like to post a picture of your project, a signed petition, or something else you want to share, you can email your file to decompress.reminders@gmail.com
